Salam Movers has handled international relocations from Abu Dhabi since 2013, and we manage the whole chain — packing, documentation, shipping, and delivery — so you deal with one team instead of five.
What our international moving service covers
- Export-grade packing. Long-haul shipping is rougher than a local move. Fragile items are double-wrapped and crated; furniture is blanket-wrapped and corner-protected for container transit.
- Full inventory and labelling. Every carton is listed and numbered before it leaves your home, so you can account for the shipment at both ends.
- Customs documentation. We prepare the paperwork your shipment needs and tell you upfront which documents you must provide yourself.
- Sea and air freight. Sea freight for full households where cost matters more than speed; air freight for smaller, urgent shipments.
- Dismantling and reassembly. Beds, wardrobes, and large units are taken apart for shipping and rebuilt on arrival where destination service is included.
- Delivery and unpacking. Cartons placed room by room rather than stacked at the door.
How the process works
- Survey and quote. Tell us what you are shipping and where to. Send photos or a room-by-room list over WhatsApp and we will quote from that — no charge for the estimate.
- Booking and schedule. We agree a packing date and give you the expected transit window for your destination.
- Packing day. Our crew packs and inventories everything on site. Nothing is sealed before you have seen it.
- Shipping and clearance. The consignment moves under our coordination; we keep you updated while it is in transit.
- Delivery. Your shipment is delivered and, where included, unpacked and reassembled.
Where we move from and to
We collect from anywhere in the UAE — Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah — including Khalifa City, Al Reem Island, Al Bateen, Mussafah, Yas Island, and Mohammed Bin Zayed City. Destination coverage depends on the route, so confirm your country with us when you enquire.
What it costs
International moving is priced on volume, destination, and whether you need sea or air freight, so there is no useful flat rate. We quote per move, in writing, with the inclusions listed. Ask specifically what is not included — destination charges and duties vary by country, and we will tell you which apply to yours.
